Getting tickets for this was extremely stressful, and thankfully my friends dad helped us out. Quoting him “I think BTS stands for Bullshit Ticketmaster Sucks” haha. We stayed at the Westin in Costa Mesa, which is kind of far from the Honda Center in Anaheim, but
we were okay with that. We got there extremely early on Day 1, which seemed kind of insane to me, but my friend really wanted merch and the new lightstick. So waiting in a line that seemed forever, we got her lightstick! Which left her old one for me to use. There were so many ARMY Moms! It was so nice getting to meet them all!
We finally found where we needed to line up to get in, and then, at the doors, found out we couldn’t bring our backpack or cameras inside the venue! Which sucked cause then we had to find a way to check them in, and hoped our cameras would make it out alive. With all the threats that have happened in the past with Rap Monster and now Jimin, we understood why they needed to do this, but we wish we had known before we left the hotel room.
They started off the concert with Not Today, which really got everyone hyped up! It was actually really hard for me to believe I was actually at this concert. I wish they let us bring our cameras in so I could have got some good shots. I miss it so much. Seeing their smiles, their voices live, is really something I hope everyone gets to see one day. They did perform their old songs such as No More Dream, but in a rock remix, that was really cool! During Fire, we had a Fire sea and during Spring Day we had the rainbow sea! The one thing that really got me is that everyone shouted “We Love You!” during Rap Monster’s Reflection. This was just an amazing experience, and I’m so very thankful I got to live it, and meet the people I got to meet.
Wow, it’s hard to believe 2016 is already over. It’s been 2 whole years with Unordinary Fans! So since it is the end of the year, we would like to announce our favorite songs of the year! IT WAS HARD choosing only ten songs each, but we managed! Please tell us what your top ten 2016 songs are!
The BTS Red Bullet Tour in USA started on July 16 in NYC. From there the boys traveled to Dallas, Chicago, and finally LA. The producers of this tour had asked that no video or photography was taken during the show; I heard that it was because they were filming it for some kind of DVD? I attended their LA concert on Sunday, July 26th. I had gotten to the venue at almost 2pm, I would have gotten their sooner but my bus arrived to LA late. By the time I got there the line was already extremely long; it started from just across Club Nokia in front of Lawry’s Cavery; down and around the corner of Tom’s Urban; another turn after passing Smash Burger going towards Nokia theater and from what I could
see from where I was in line it kept going around Nokia Theater. Honestly none of the Kpop concerts I have ever been to have ever been organized and this is no exception. In my opinion and some other VIP+ ticket holders as well thought that the staff should have told VIP+ to go to their own line from the beginning and once there show their ticket to get their wrist bands instead of telling us to go into the mixed line and waiting for 3 (some even 7) hours before someone came by to find the VIP+ and give them their wristbands. To me it just seemed like a lot more work than what they needed to do. Not gonna lie tho this did seem to be a bit more organized than other shows I have been to even though they could do better next time. Okay, so the concert was supposed to start at 7 but because they were still letting fans inside they had us wait 10-15minutes more before actually starting the show. I just want to point out that please, if you are in the pit section do not; I repeat DO NOT sit on the floor while waiting for the show to start. It is not safe and you take up a lot of space when you sit on the floor that it’s a bit rude to those around you…
When the VCR finally came on everyone went crazy and the video was kinda funny too like at one point it said something like, “Do not shove or push others because they will die.” Like that is such a weird thing to say and it made a lot of fans laugh. BTS came out with N.O first and the crowd got even louder if possible haha. I won’t go through every song they performed because this would get long very fast but I will talk about the most memorable things and to start that I will mention during their song, ‘Cypher Pt.3’ as soon as it began fans got turnt super quick like 0 to 60 in less than 2 seconds and throughout the whole song it felt like the floor where us VIP+’s were standing would collapse any second it honestly felt kinda like we were on a trampoline because of everyone that was jumping there. When I heard the beginning of No More Dream I got super excited because being a Jimin biased I was waiting for the part of the song where he lifts his shirt and when it finally happened I was not disappointed. I was also hoping they would perform Dope
sometime during the show and when it was time for Encores they performed it second! So amazing to see not just that song but all their songs live. Seeing these boys in concert was a good experience I do wish I could have made my way further into the middle of the crowd but can’t do anything about that now just gotta wait for their return I guess. Also I just have to say The fans were super amazing too honestly; out of all the concerts/ showcases I have been to this was the very FIRST one where I think everyone participated in the fan chants and it felt like I was in Korea at a actual music performance. When BTS sang “I Need You”, wow just that fan chant was so powerful and unified it was just a great thing to be a part of. In the beginning during Suga’s part he held out his mic and all the ARMY’s sang his entire part in Korean and it was amazing. Also the hi-touch was great the boys were all so sweet and their hands are super soft like I don’t know what idols do to keep their hands that soft but all the idols I have met has had very soft hands and I want to know their secret. Do they just use a lot of lotion or what? Lol add that to list of questions I need to ask Kpop Idols. I can’t remember to much of the concert from last night mostly to be not feeling well but I do know that ARMY’s are great fans, BTS are the sweetest and I can’t wait to attend another Kpop concert!
Thank you to SubKulture for putting on such an amazing tour.
